American Eskimo: Index

The American Eskimo is a popular pet derived from its much larger cousins, the Spitz and the Samoyed, but has nothing to do with the Eskimo tribes. A great watchdog that is easy to train, the American Eskimo is very protective of its family. Its trainability and high intelligence made the American Eskimo a popular dog for the traveling circuses of the early 1900's.
