The Australian Shepherd isnt actually from Australia, its an American creation. Used for years to herd the sheep of France and Spain, the Australian Shepherd is very intelligent, easy to train, and very active. The dog requires a lot of exercise every day and should have a large backyard to run around in. The Australian Shepherd is not meant to live in an apartment and will easily get into trouble if it doesnt have enough to do.
