Basset Hound: Index

The Basset Hound is the classic hound dog with the big flappy ears. Its gentle and friendly disposition makes it one of the best family dogs around. The short stature of these dogs does make them slow to move but they are very deliberate and patient. Their slowness extends into their training, which can take longer on a Basset Hound than with other dogs, but they are very interested to learn and will make a great pet.
