Used for years in the Brittany section of northwestern France as a bird dog and hunting dog, the Brittany makes a good companion pet and/or hunting dog. Their high activity and desire to please makes them a good dog for an active family. The Brittany is easy to train and any skill level of owner can effectively train the Brittany.
