Corgi: Index

The Corgi is currently recognized as two different and distinct breeds by the regulatory authorities, but this change has only occurred recently, within the past 80 years. Prior to this time the Corgi was considered one breed with variations. The Cardigan Welsh Corgi has a longer tail and straighter back legs. The Pembroke Welsh Corgi as a stub tail and more normal looking legs. Other than the tail, these differences are minuscule, as they both have the same shape, size, weight, coloring, intelligence, playfulness, and more.
