The Dalmatian is a very popular breed, its the dog with all of those spots! They make good family pets for the very active family, but can be difficult to train, so training should be done by experienced dog owners. A significant percentage of Dalmatians are totally deaf, as many as 1 in 7 dogs (14%) which may require different training methods, but otherwise they are very friendly and lovable.
