Great Dane: Index

The Great Dane is the 2nd largest dog available. This massive dog can grow to nearly 3 feet at the shoulder, so when it jumps up and stands on its hind legs, the Great Dane can be more than 6 feet tall. Couple that with a male Great Dane that can easily weigh over 200lbs, and youve got a dog that can tackle someone like a football player. However, the Great Dane is considered a gentle giant. It is great with children, and is very friendly and patient.
