Irish Wolfhound: Index

The Irish Wolfhound is the largest dog, but it is considered a gentle giant. They always want to play and are a very good family dog, despite their overwhelming size. As a result of this playful nature, the Irish Wolfhound is not the best watchdog, but instead relies on intimidation because of its size. Not necessarily recommended for the novice dog owner, because the Irish Wolfhound can easily get out of hand, a firm pack leader that has skill with dogs should have no problem raising and training the Irish Wolfhound.
