The Malinois, also known as the Belgian Malinois or Belgian Sheepdog, is the Belgian equivalent of the German Shepherd. Sharing many similar characteristics including size, shape, color, and intelligence, the Malionis is frequently mistaken for a German Shepherd. Although not as popular in the United States, the Malinois is extremely popular in Belgium. They make a good family pet and can be easily training by any level of dog owner.
