Pomeranian: Index
The Pomeranian is a cute little fuzzball dog that is extremely popular in the United States. Raised for years in northeastern Germany and northwestern Poland (in the Pomerania area), they were originally a much larger dog that was carefully bred down into the current Toy size. Queen Victoria had one as a pet and this lead to the Pomeranian's popularity. The Pomeranian is a great family dog and a great watchdog that even a novice owner can take care of.
