Scottish Terrier: Index

The Scottish Terrier is one of the most recognizable breeds available, prized for its stature, presence, and silhouette. Good with families, it needs a skilled owner to be able to train it and to prevent the Scottish Terrier from developing Small Dog Syndrome. The Scottish Terrier (or Scottie) is not your precious little baby, it needs to be treated like a dog, or a wide variety of troublesome issues will arise. The Scottish Terrier is naturally suspicious of strangers which makes it a great watchdog, but you may need to keep an eye on the dog when guests come to visit.
